API and background processor to handle shipments into Pickup Drop-off (PUDO) locations.
Our Role
For this project we worked with a start-up to build their entire backend services to manage the movements of parcels through a PUDO network.
API/Backend development
On this project this was our main role. We worked with the CTO to develop a backend API which could easily be handed over to intermediate developers to maintain.
Application Handover
Our role in the project was always to come on short term and get the company started.
Once a stable API was developed our role was then to carry out a complete handover to internal developers.
Developer Coaching
During the initial release of the project, three intermediate developers were hired to maintain and develop features on the projects.
We coached these developers up to a standard that was acceptable by the client.
